About the Galleries
The Galleries are organized into four separate areas based on aspect ratio.
For example, Gallery 45 features prints with a 4:5 ratio—such as 4x5, 8x10, and 16x20. I organize all Art Prints by four standard ratios: 4:5, 2:3, 1:1, and 1:2. My digital camera captures images in 2:3 ratio, while my large and medium format film cameras shoot in either 4:5 or 1:1 ratio. Some images are best displayed as 2:1 ratio. These four formats also align with standard frame sizes available in the market.
This organization prevents customers from accidentally ordering a 10"x10" print intended for a 2:3 ratio, which could result in cropping important elements of the photograph.
That's why I offer four separate Galleries for you to choose from.
One final point: these images are meant to be displayed on your wall and appreciated as physical art, not viewed on a phone screen. For this reason, I do not offer digital versions or small prints.
ABOUT PRICING
Pricing is complex and depends on several factors.
My pricing reflects my experience, the time invested in creating each image, the cost of professional camera equipment and lenses,
computer hardware, and software. Additionally, I factor in the costs of hosting this website and gallery, lab printing, mounting, framing, and shipping each print to you.
I do set my pricing above what my lab charges me, but I don't set the shipping costs.
